This Sheffield Wildlife Trust reserve is a traditionally-managed hay meadow and should be lovely at this time. A SWT ecologist will guide us and discuss hay meadow management. Our final indoor meeting this season is a talk by Matthew Capper, Senior Warden of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in our region, on the Society's work locally. This talk was originally scheduled for January but was postponed owing to the weather conditions at that time. Note the Venue: 7.30pm at Shirley House, Southcroft, 31 Psalter Lane, Sheffield, S11 8YL Directions to Shirley House: At the top of Cemetery Road take the third exit on to Psalter Lane. You will immediately see the Stag pub on the left. Continue about 50 metres and look out for an illuminated bus shelter on the same side. Immediately before the shelter turn left through the gateway with a large 'Southcroft' sign. Shirley House is the old building on your left. Wheelchair Access |
